Alhamdhulillah, Masjid Al-Nur is proud to present a Hifz program (Quran Memorization) to the community.

This program  will be led and run by Imam Hafiz Abdullahi. He memorized the Qur’an at the young age of ten in Somalia. Before coming to USA he was the Imam of Masjid in Libya for eight years.

• He has Ijazah in Quran recitation, Hifz and teaching Quran from Measarawy Institute, Egypt.
• He has a second Ijazah in Hafs ‘an ‘Aasim from Sheikh Sayed Fathy Al-Said Al-Azhari from Egypt who received an Ijazah in the ten styles of recitation of the narration of Tayyibah.

Classes Begin: August 28th, 2014

Enrollment Open: throughout the year

Eligibility: Students will be evaluated to determine whether they can attend the Hifz program directly. If they are not able to read or write then they will need to complete a preparatory course (reading and writing course – Noorani Qaida rules). After successfully completing this course (for about four months), they will be moved to the Hifz program. Minimum age requirement is five years.

• Thursdays: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
• Fridays: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
• Saturdays and Sundays:  5:00 – 7:00 pm

Course Days & Timings for Boys:

• Thursdays: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
• Fridays: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
• Saturdays and Sundays:  7:00 – 9:00 pm

Preparatory Course for Hifz (Reading and Writing Course)

Course Details:

•  Noorani Qaida
•  Muallim Al Qira’ah Al Arabiyah
•  Quran Reading and writing
•  Islamic Tarbiyah

Timings:

• Thursdays: 4:00 – 7:00 pm
• Fridays: 5:00 – 8:30 pm
• Sundays: 5:00 – 8:30 pm

Program Fees

Holidays:

• Last 10 days of Ramadhan
• 3 days of Eid-ul-Fitr
• 5 days of Eid-ul-Adha
