Ramadan Kareem - Salat-ut-Taraweeh starts Friday, May 26, night

As'Salaamu Alaiykum -

Ramadan Kareem to you and your family.

Insha'Allah, the first day of Ramadan will be Saturday, May 27, 2017, and the first Taraweeh prayer will be held at Masjid Al-Nur on Friday night, 5 minutes after Salat-ul-Isha. Please plan to attend and finish the Salah with the Imam.

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever prays with the Imam until he finishes, Allah will record for him as if he spent the whole night in prayer” - At-Tirmidhi (806)

Taraweeh prayers will be held at Masjid Al-Nur every day after Salat-ul-Isha during the month of Ramadan. If you are bringing your small kids to the Salah please try to keep them with you, as much as possible, so that they don't make any disturbances during Salah.

"O you who believe, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may (learn) self-restraint." - Al-Qur'an 2: 183
